FLUTE FUTURES
About
A seven-day European youth exchange bringing together 42 young flutists from across Europe for ensemble work, co-created performances and career-focused workshops in Aarhus. The programme combines artstic collaboraton with training in digital skills, cultural entrepreneurship and well-being, while participants take part in the Danish Flute Festival and build lasting international networks.
The mobility of the participants (travel, accommodation and food) is fully financed by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme, ensuring equal access and inclusion for young musicians from diverse backgrounds.
As a pilot initiative, Flute Futures develops a replicable model for future mobility projects that support employability, creativity and intercultural exchange for young musicians.
Each participating country will select 6 participants for the Flute Futures week, plus 1 group leader, aged 18–30. The group leader is also a regular participant and, in addition, will:
• Support and guide her/his national group during the mobility and festival activities
• Serve as the main contact between her/his group and the organisers
• Ensure smooth communication, collaboration, and organisation within the group
• Assist with practical or logistical matters during the event.
During the programme, participants will:

Collaborate in ensemble workshops and co-created performances

Participate in joint rehearsals and artistic exchange sessions

Develop career planning, cultural entrepreneurship and project management skills

Strengthen digital competences for musicians, including online promotion and tools

Engage in workshops on well-being, resilience and sustainable artistic practice

Take part in intercultural dialogue and peer-to-peer learning activities

Contribute actively to shaping the programme and reflecting through personal learning diaries

Build European networks through participation in the Danish Flute Festival

Flute Futures er et sju dagers langt europeisk ungdomsutvekslingsprosjekt som samler 42 unge fløytister fra hele Europa til ensemblearbeid, egenproduserte forestillinger og karriereorienterte workshops i Århus. Programmet kombinerer kunstnerisk samarbeid med opplæring i digitale ferdigheter, kulturelt entreprenørskap og trivselsbaserte aktiviteter, samtidig som deltakerne deltar på den danske fløytefestivalen og bygger varige internasjonale nettverk.
Deltakernes mobilitet (reise, overnatting og mat) er fullt finansiert av EU gjennom Erasmus+ programmet, noe som sikrer likeverdig tilgang og inkludering for unge musikere med ulik bakgrunn.
Som et pilotinitiativ utvikler Flute Futures en modell som kan gjentas i fremtidige mobilitetsprosjekter og som styrker den enkeltes kreativitet, internasjonale kompetanse og ruster deltakerne for morgendagens arbeidsliv innen musikk og kulturfeltet.
I løpet av programmet vil deltakerne:

Samarbeide i ensembleworkshops og egenproduserte forestillinger

Delta i aktivitet som fremmer kunstnerisk utveksling

Utvikle ferdigheter i karriereplanlegging, kulturelt entreprenørskap og prosjektledelse

Styrke digitale ferdigheter for musikere, inkludert markedsføring på nett og beherskelse av relevante verktøy
-
Delta i workshops som omhandler arbeidsmiljø og bærekraftig kunstnerisk praksis

Ta del i interkulturell dialog og aktiviteter for læring mellom jevnaldrende

Bidra til å videreutvikle Flute Futures programmet gjennom samtaler og refleksjon

Bygge europeiske nettverk gjennom deltakelse på den danske fløytefestivalen
Hvert deltakerland vil velge ut 6 deltakere til Flute Futures-uken i alderen 18–30 år.
En leder for gruppa vil:

Støtte og veilede sin nasjonale gruppe under mobiliteten og festivalaktivitetene

Være hovedkontakt mellom gruppen og arrangørene

Sikre god kommunikasjon, samarbeid og organisering i gruppen

Bistå med praktiske eller logistiske forhold under arrangementet
Lær, opptre og knytt kontakt med unge fløytister fra hele Europa!
